Milan will be hosting the general meeting of the International Olympic Committee. A 7-day event where more than 1,000 delegates from the IOC will meet to select the destination host of the Winter Olympics of 2026.
Not only will there be the delegates from the representative countries, but there will also be the organizational staff and an expected 400 journalists and media crews.
The IOC Executive Board will be hosted at the Principe di Savoia hotel. For other attendees, staff and technical and media teams hotels near the MiCo Fiera Milano in the Piazza della Repubblica, around the congress center and along the underground line 5 (stop in front of the MiCo) are recommended.
The opening ceremony will take place at The Teatro alla Scala which will be attended by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.
