Best places to stop and kiss in Milan. I got the idea for this guide after a trip to Hawaii with my husband. In the guide book they had romantic places to kiss. Here are our choices for Milan:

1. Top of the Duomo – you can take an elevator or the spiral stone staircase of 919 steps to the roof of the Duomo

2. Piazza San Fedele, found between piazza Duomo and Via Manzoni, has become a traditional lovers’ meeting place.  Here you will find the statue of Alessandro Manzoni, author of Italian literary romantic masterpiece “I Promessi Sposi” -“The Betrothed“.

3. In front of the Francesco Hayez painting Il Bacio “The Kiss” at the Pinacoteca Brera (photo above)

4. Under the glass dome in the center of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele

5. A Gallery box at Teatro alla Scala – there is nothing more romantic than the opera

6. Under the Arco della Pace

7. On the East end draw bridge of Castello Sforzesco

8. With a glass of champagne and oysters at Da Claudio Via Cusani 1 Milano Tel 02 8056857

9. On a summer evening canal cruise https://www.naviglilombardi.it/

10. A lover’s good-bye kiss  in front of a train at Stazione Centrale (Central Station)
