Cotoletta Vintage Market to Debut in Milan on May 10

The vibrant city of Milan is set to welcome the first edition of the Cotoletta Vintage Market on Sunday, May 10. This event promises to be a haven for enthusiasts of retro collectibles, modern antiques, and all things vintage, taking place at the expansive Department 184, located at Via Varesina 184.

Spanning over 3,000 square meters, the market will feature more than 50 select exhibitors, providing a unique platform for visitors to explore an array of iconic pieces and rare finds. The thoughtfully designed exhibition layout caters to every collector's taste, showcasing a mix of modern antiques and design—including iconic space-age furniture, vintage toys from the '80s and '90s, and a diverse collection of vinyl records for audiophiles. Each exhibitor carries a unique story, making every purchase not only a sustainable choice but also a personal statement of style, in contrast to the fast fashion trend.

The Cotoletta Vintage Market reflects Milan's authentic and communal spirit, merging a love for historic artifacts with the essence of sharing urban social spaces within a striking post-industrial setting. Each transaction breathes new life into objects that tell a story.

Event co-creator Annie Mazzola emphasizes the significance of the market's name, stating, “We chose the name Cotoletta because it is the quintessential symbol of Milan: something that instantly brings joy and brings everyone together, just like our market.” She continues, “It all stems from our passion as a group of friends who spent time uncovering treasures at flea markets and collecting unique pieces. With this project, we wanted to transform that spirit into a collective narrative, creating a space where vintage is not just an object, but a means to come together and celebrate our city.“

The Cotoletta Vintage Market is more than just a shopping experience; it offers an engaging format that champions the culture of reuse. Attendees can indulge in cuisine from seven different kitchens at the Food Court, available throughout the day. As night falls, the energy will be amplified by a special vinyl DJ set from 6:00 PM until midnight.
