-In the popular Pt. Venezia district, Vinile is a comfortable step back in time. It’s not only a bar- café, but is host to art presentations, jazz and funk DJ set evenings, and simply, a great hangout. There are vintage café tables, chairs and sofas to sit and sip your coffee, read a newspaper and take a well welcomed break. Gianluca Soresi, music producer, opened Vinile at the end of 2011. His passion for music and all things 70’s is reflected in the décor . His personal vinyl collection, vintage hi-fi , Star War figure collection and book collection are all on display. He told me he would like to revive listening to music, “the ritual of listening to an LP has been lost, we used to sit down, listen to the music, look at the LP cover read the lyrics and story about the artist. Now, we just hear music in the background, we don’t listen to it anymore.” Vinile is a great meeting point for lunch, aperitivo or just hanging out.
