More than a Vintage Fashion Display
Hosted at Milan’s renowned fashion destination, 10 Corso Como, unveils its latest venture: Archive Circle. This groundbreaking project redefines the concept of fashion archives, placing it at the forefront of contemporary discourse. Through curated collections and innovative indexing, Archive Circle sparks conversations on pressing issues like activism, sustainability, and gender rights.

All items have been carefully collected and curated and are for sale, offering fashion fans a unique opportunity to own a functional and stylish piece of fashion history.

The inaugural chapter of Archive Circle, set to debut at the newly renovated 10 Corso Como Gallery from April 25 to May 9, 2024, is a collaboration with MORPHINE.ONLINE. This digital and cultural platform, founded by Martina Iotti, Macs Iotti, and Tommaso Vaiani in 2018, celebrates rare, individual, and personal items while advocating for ethical responsibility in fashion through vintage garment collection, reworking, and artistic projects.

Exclusively designed for 10 Corso Como, the installation showcases a blend of clothing, accessories, words, and images for sale. It serves as a contemporary rediscovery of the creative universe of the 1990s, where culture intersected with subculture. Iconic brand garments from designers like Martin Margiela, Raf Simons, Vivienne Westwood, and Helmut Lang, as well as Japanese innovations from Comme des Garçons and Undercover, are featured alongside new imagery.

Beyond clothing, the exhibition includes accessories and ephemera, offering glimpses into iconic fashion shows and serving as symbols of identity for entire generations. 10 Corso Como augments the experience with a dedicated cultural program, inviting visitors to explore inaccessible projects, spaces, and collections. It provides a tangible and intangible heritage unique to fashion, filtering through different eras and encompassing historical facts, research on subcultures, and new digital frontiers.

Collaborations with artists, photographers, and designers breathe new life into archive garments, fostering avant-garde visions. The exhibition floor, under the vision of Tiziana Fausti, becomes a space for dialogue and cross-pollination among the arts, where fashion culture is revitalized, celebrated, and shared through innovative projects.

Archive Circle at 10 Corso Como promises to not only engage established fashion enthusiasts but also introduce younger generations to the importance of archiving and conservation. It represents a fusion of past and present, where the legacy of fashion continues to inspire and evolve.
