The Program:

The gates of Idroscalo will open at 6:30 pm, welcoming attendees with local food trucks to indulge in the region's culinary excellence while waiting for the sunset. Live music, with both performances and relaxing melodies, will create the perfect backdrop for lounging on the grass.

The Magical Moment: Thousands of Lights Illuminate the Night

The highlight of the event will be at 9:30 pm when thousands of lights will simultaneously light up the dark night. Each participant will have the opportunity to personalize their lantern by inserting a thought, a dream for the future, or a dedication to a loved one who has passed away and then releasing it onto the water.

The promised visual effect is breathtaking: a luminous carpet of dancing candles on the surface of Idroscalo, transforming the Milanese basin into a captivating and timeless panorama. It's a moment of pure reflection and emotion to be experienced with a partner, family, or close friends.

Environmentally Friendly:

The organizers have paid strict attention to the environmental impact, adopting the philosophy of “leave no trace.” The lanterns used are completely biodegradable, made of rice paper with a wooden base. Instead of open flames, LED candles are placed inside, not only avoiding fire hazards but also being collected, recycled, and reused by the staff at the end of the event. The organization will also clean up the entire Idroscalo water basin of any pre-existing waste, leaving the park cleaner than before.
