Known as La Passeggiata degli Innamorati, Lover’s Lane, it runs along the rocky lakeside, suspended over the water’s edge.

Because of its layout, Varenna is best explored on foot. The gentle curve of the lakeside path creates beautiful perspectives, while reflections on the water add depth to every view. This is an ideal location to slow down—walk without a strict plan, stop for a gelato, and take in the details.

Villa del Balbianello
