Gucci Altitude Debuts Winter Sportswear Collection Featuring Tennis Pro Jannik Sinner

With the Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina just around the corner, it’s the perfect time for Gucci to launch its new luxury winter sportswear collection.

The Florentine fashion house presents Gucci Altitude, the winter sportswear collection, with Italian tennis sensation Jannik Sinner as its Global Ambassador.

Rather than a star of the slopes Gucci has chosen a star of the courts, tennis pro Jannik Sinner. With a background in both skiing and tennis, Sinner perfectly embodies the brand’s fusion of elegance and athleticism.

Sinner, who hails from Sesto Pusteria, Italy, grew up skiing on the nearby slopes before shifting his focus to tennis.

The young athlete, who is currently ranked number 1 in the world, has now partnered with Gucci to showcase their latest winter sportswear collection.

In a recent interview with GQ, Sinner shared his passion for both sports, stating, “I love being surrounded by nature while skiing. Of course, playing tennis in beautiful stadiums is amazing, but you don’t always get to enjoy the beauty of nature. There are exceptions, like Monte Carlo, where you have a breathtaking view of the sea.”

The collection, aptly named Gucci Altitude, features a range of winter sportswear, including a versatile ski jacket adorned with the brand’s iconic monogram, a pair of lined sneakers, and padded gloves. Each piece combines the precision of winter sportswear with the traditional design elements of the Gucci brand.

Sinner’s partnership with Gucci extends beyond the world of sports. As a model for the brand, he effortlessly poses in the snow-capped mountains, showcasing the collection’s seamless blend of functionality and high fashion. In one image, Sinner is seen wearing a sturdy snow jacket adorned with the iconic monogram, a testament to the collection’s ability to seamlessly combine practicality with luxury.

In addition to the winter sportswear collection, Gucci has also collaborated with HEAD, the brand’s partner for their popular white tennis bag, to create a line for the courts.
