The Harlem Gospel Choir is one of the most famous gospel choirs in the world and the first gospel choir in the USA.

Founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey for the celebration in honor of Martin Luther King, the Harlem Gospel Chour is composed of the most elegant voices and the best musicians from the black churches of Harlem and New York.

With a career spanning three decades, the Harlem Gospel Choir are the only gospel choir to ever sing for two Popes, two Presidents of the USA, for the Royal Family and for Nelson Mandela.

Besides taking part in important events such as the International Broadcast Memorial in Times Square for Michael Jackson and the 60th birthday of Elton John, the Harlem Gospel Choir collaborated with superstars like Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards, Andre Rieu, Diana Ross, The Chieftains, Ben Harper and Pharrell Williams. The most famous gospel choir in the world also appeared in the videoclip of the song I Still Haven’t found What I’m Looking For of U2 and performed with Sam Smith for the song Pray at the Grammy Awards in 2018.

The Harlem Gospel Choir aim to defeat the cultural barriers by uniting the countries and their people and tour all over the world to share the joy of the Faith and raise money for charitable works.

In 2022 the Harlem Gospel Choir will take part to the Sanremo Music Festival with the Italian artist Achille Lauro!
